Who is W. Cleon Skousen?
Willard Cleon Skousen, the founder of the National Center for Constitutional Studies, died at the age of 92 on January 9, 2006. Born in Raymond, Alberta Canada in 1913, Skousen came to the United States after an agricultural depression destroyed the family farm in 1921. He took a job working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and earned a law degree at George Washington University Law School.
He was a prolific writer and produced three national best sellers, The Naked Communist, The Naked Capitalist, and The Five Thousand Year Leap. Eight of his books were used as college texts, and several were translated and published in other countries.

Dr. Skousen served the FBI for 16 years (1935-1951), and worked closely with J. Edgar Hoover including a hot-spot stint as the director of communications. In 1960 he began a speaking tour around the country addressing the important political issues facing America at that time. During this period, he averaged 300 speeches a year.

I first met W. Cleon Skousen sometime around 2001 when he agreed to be a speaker at an all-day Constitutional training class I organized and held at the Utah State Capitol. The National Center for Constitutional Studies (founded by Skousen – see www.NCCS.net now run by Zeldon Nelson) co-sponsored the event and help provide speakers in addition to Mr. Skousen. A notable participant who sat in as one of about 100 class members was Congressman Merrill Cook.
In the year prior to his passing on January 9, 2006, I was fortunate to have been invited into his home three times — and was even introduced to a young Rothchild visitor. (That’s a story for another time.) I was honored that Mr. Skousen took great interest in reading a feature screenplay I co-authored titled “At War With God”, and was pleasantly surprised to learn that not only did he like the screenplay “very much”, but that he had read it twice, and so had his dear wife Jewel!
Now, in 2023, a reflection on Skousen’s monumental work the Naked Communist and it documentation of “the 45 goals of communism”, is helpful to remember that we watch our once great nation crumble into corruption and chaos, we cannot say that Skousen did not warn us that we needed to guard and fight to protect our God-given liberty – or we could lose it altogether.
It is haunting to know that his final book “The Cleansing of America” was so sobering and honest, that he asked his family NOT to publish it until well after his death! The 45 goals of communism
- U.S. should accept coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.
- U.S. should be willing to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.
- Develop the illusion that total disarmament by the U.S. would be a demonstration of “moral strength.”
- Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
- Extend long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.
- Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.
- Grant recognition of Red China and admission of Red China to the U.N.
- Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the Germany question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.
- Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the U.S. has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.
- Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.
- Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces.
- Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.
- Do away with loyalty oaths.
- Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.
- Capture one or both of the political parties in the U.S.
- Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions, by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
- Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for Socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
- Gain control of all student newspapers.
- Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations that are under Communist attack.
- Infiltrate the press. Get control of book review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.
- Gain control of key positions in radio, TV & motion pictures.
- Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all form of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings,” substituting shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.
- Control art critics and directors of art museums. ” Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
- Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
- Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.
- Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural and healthy.”
- Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”
- Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state”
- Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
- Discredit the American founding fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”
- Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of “the big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
- Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture – education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
- Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.
- Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
- Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.
- Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
- Infiltrate and gain control of big business.
- Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand or treat.
- Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose communist goals.
- Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
- Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.
- Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special interest groups should rise up and make a “united force” to solve economic, political or social problems.
- Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.
- Internationalize the Panama Canal.
- Repeal the Connally Reservation so the U.S. cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over nations and individuals alike.
Today, in 2023, this warning from 1961 – sixty years later – sounds like a warning that was not heeded. Most of the 45 goals seemed impossible in 1961. How many of the 45 goals have the communists (of “Lucifer Inc.” world government – see WW3 article #1) succeeded in implementing in America?
Sure seems like “both parties” are now captured and controlled by “useful idiots” as Marx called them – stupidly helping them in the Communist goals to implement socialism first, which inevitably leads to communism.
Now with Beijing Biden in the White House with his DEEP STATE oath-breaking traitor UN-indicted co-conspirators swamping up D.C. and the rest of the country at every level of government – it’s clear we owe Skousen and especially the Founding Fathers an apology for failing to protect the gift we inherited from their bloody sacrifices made so we might breath free. If we lose it, we have no one to blame but ourselves.
JOKE: The Biden Crime family claims that they cannot be bought. We agree that they are not for sale — because China has already bought them! And we now have the bank records and receipts and Hunter’s laptop to prove it!!
